It all started because we love great coffee, our friends, community, and getting outside and having adventures. Why not put it all together and share it? So here we are. And we LOVE being here!

How we actually got started here is quite the story. Trevor Koehn (brother/son) spent six months in Seattle, Washington in voluntary service with our church. Was there, came to love good coffee. After Trevor came back home, the realization settled in that there was not very good coffee around. Deep dive into coffee begins. One day I, Tiffany Koehn (Sister, Daughter) was with Trevor and his wife Mandy. We are driving and suddenly decided why not stop in and check out this building that's been for sale in McVeytown for a while? So that's what we did. It felt like the right thing. So after some consideration and prayer, we decided to go ahead with it. About a year later we open to Venturous Coffee Roasters.

We are family-owned and operated but of course we couldn't do it without help from our amazing team and staff. Trevor and Mandy moved to Vermont about a year after we opened, but we are thankful they helped us start Venturous. Most of all Venturous Coffee Roasters would not be possible without God.
